Garenne Zoo
The Zoo de la Garenne is located on the Vaud Coast in the district of Nyon. It opened for the first time in 1965 and is completely renovated in 2016 when its surface area is increased five times from 6’000 to 30’000 m2 to reach a size comparable to the alpine zoo of les MarΓ©cottes. Open all year round, it employs about fifteen people.

Aviaries
Some interesting points to note:
- a playground especially large for children
- a belvedere gives a view of the whole zoo
- a small restaurant is available at the entrance
