The Vaulruz Castle is a pretty castle build by the Savoy near the City of Bulle.

There is very little information on this beautiful castle, on site or on the internet, built in Vaulruz. The castle is not highlighted for the visitor, so it unfortunately represents only little interest. At most, it is sometimes possible to enter the inner courtyard. It is possible to rent guest rooms or even dormitories as well as rooms for a meal.
However, it can be said that it was built in the 13th century by Savoy, damaged during the wars of Burgundy and then sold with the surrounding localities in Fribourg during the conquest of the Vaud by the Bernese in 1536. The castle is partially rebuilt in 1910 according to ancient plans.
