Opposite the main building of the Arboretum is the wood museum built in an old farmhouse. It is open free of charge since the arboretum building in 1977.

The wood museum presents collections of more than 1000 tools used to work wood by many professions such as lumberjacks, carpenters, joiners, etc… .
Some wooden sculptures are on display, such as the miniature of the Sauvabelin Tower in Lausanne, and temporary exhibitions are regularly organised within the museum.
